Classrooms of TODAY from Early Years to Graduation and beyond cannot be exclusive of technology. Share, and encourage best use of I.T. in education to support inquiry.
I work in a school where "walls" between various departments still exist.
The IT department consists of two IT professionals who do not support the teaching staff in any endeavour or task whatsoever. I had to discover here how empowering the use of technologies is, how they enhance learning and deepen social connections.
How can I share this "brave new world" vision and tackle the issue without giving the impression that I am arrogant or whatever adjective might come to people's mind ?
I signaled the problem to the principals but they overlooked it, despite promises of measures :( I do not want to cross the ethical issue of "undermining" others' work at school (aka, IT people) either...
What if you werein my place..What would you do? How?
