Hi all! I've embedded the video in Cristina's wall comment below to facilitate the viewing :) however, there are a few other good ones under 'related videos' worth watching - so hit the link in Cristina's comment to see more on what I.T. and other teaching techniques can look like in the classroom.
Over the past few months I've become more and more a fan of mind-mapping. I've tried a few different ways to do this. The easiest of course is pen and paper especially because it's most accessible; a note book in your bag or a napkin in a restaurant, you can map your thinking and keep your thoughts flowing as apposed to thinking in circles. I've trailed a few software mind-mapping programs including free internet based ones; however, the best yet is that of Tony Buzan. If you are not familiar with it you can trail it for a week for free... WARNING, you will like it and want it and it's not cheap.
Following is a video where Chris Griffiths the Chief Executive and founder of Tony Buzan online, explains some views on Thinking vs Technology and, well... there is a bit of a sales pitch in it, but there is also much truth to the thinking.
