Hi Everyone,
You all know I try to keep up with "What's hot" in I.T. (especially when it comes to Mac's - smile), but this is not a Mac thing! This is about using I.T., Blogs in particular, within the primary classroom. I found this great 'Wiki' resource through the http://pypthreads.ning.com/ that some of you are familiar with. Soooo! if you are hesitant to use I.T. within your classroom as a tool -which will no doubt promote inquiry- browsing through this Wiki will take that fear away and probably help you get started.

This interview with Kathy Cassidy is a little taste of what you will find on the Wiki:
Wow Linda! I'm proud of you. Looking forward to see it grow :)
Another, IT idea in terms of sharing and allowing your students and those invited to comment on their work is by using "Voice Threads" - This link gives you a good explanation on how it works. The students could make a voice thread and have the links with introductions/explanations appear on the Wikki. - Just an idea :) - Anyhow, well done! for getting started with something! Welcome to the the 21st century!
I just created my own "Wiki" about my class. I'm not sure yet if I want to share it with parents at this stage (still finding how to organize things best) but I'm very proud that I already created an intro-page, 2 pages with photos and uploaded a video. And all of that without any sweat (although it's hot) or tears (nothing frustrating about it). Please take a look! (and thanks for sharing this great and inspirational video with us Elaine!)
